Scraping earth over the mouse she had caught, Teardrop patted the earth with her paw to make sure that the fresh-kill wasn`t visible to scavengers. Now that it was later in new-leaf, the prey was quite plentiful and it wasn`t really necessary to be so overly-cautious with the burying for later. But the pure white she-cat still felt obligated to work her hardest for her Clan.
Once she was sure her catch was out of sight, she continued along on her hunting expedition, ears alert for more prey, or anything else for that matter.

Scouting the surroundings, she heard and scented traces of a mouse in the undergrowth and a squirrel nearby, and she looked around to see if she could spot them. She was able to catch the mouse with ease, and she burried it beside her other mouse, smiling with a purr of satisfaction.

"Now, should I go back to camp or catch more?" Teardrop asked herself before deciding to walk around and see if there was anything else to catch. She stayed clear of the Nightclan border, but kept her ears pricked for Heavensorrow. She wouldn`t put it past her Warrior code-breaking 'friend' to try and get to her on Duskclan's own territory.

Suddenly, a new scent drifted over her, one she had dreaded to sense. "Heavensorrow." she spat, her pure white pelt beginning to bristle. She whirled around, hissing, but- No one was there. "You're being paranoid now." She reprimanded herself. "Tell her you aren`t her friend anymore. Tell her you're a loyal Duskclan Warrior. Tell her you defy her!" With unsheathed claws at her own intensity and walked off, back in the direction of camp. But she didn't want to return to camp just yet. She needed some time to think alone, as usual, but yet she also wanted some company. But NOT Heavensorrow's!
