Name: Owltail
Age: 16 moons
Gender: she-cat
Clan: MorningClan
Rank: warrior
Physical Description: She has a short dusky brown pelt. Owltail's overall figure is long, though not exactly tall. She isn't an oriental breed, though her face is longer and more detailed like that of one, alone with her head overall. The she-cat's tail is also longer. She's very slender. Her eyes are a rather pretty pale blue.
Personality: She is a very nice and kind cat, though isn't the most gregarious. If to be nice, Owltail will converse with others, or she will try to encourage them, though if not needed she tried to not talk. The she-cat is rather intelligent, and is often caught up in random thought. She does pretty well when in battle; strength isn't her main factor, though she does possess a good deal of it, even if her main component is her speed. Owltail is always as loyal as she can be to her clan, and tries yo show her loyalty whenever, though there is no need for anyone to doubt it.
History: Owltail was born into the clan during a harsh green leaf, during a drought. Her mother could barely manage to manage her own well being along with her brothers. Even with all attempts, one of her brothers, Sandkit, had died when they were two moons old. Later, around two moons later, there was a terrible storm that stopped the drought, but then caused floods. In the floods her father was killed, trying to get up a tree after he had made sure they were safely up. Apprenticed with her brother in leaf bare, even then their mother wanted to make sure they would grow to be warriors, and often would give up her share of food for the two. This, however, proved to be a poor choice, as she died of hunger. Owltail, then Owlpaw, was rather sad to have lost nearly all of her family, and this probably what made her so close to her brother. She made it through her apprentice training, and, along with her brother, is a warrior.
Other: might like a mate. Has a brother, Foxfang
IC Post: Padding slowly through her clan's territory, a long brown she-cat moved along, her pale blue eyes open for prey. Large ears were alert, trying to sense any prey at all. Leaves crunching lightly under her small paws, Owltail hoped that she would find something soon; leaf-fall was already here, and the clan would need all it could get. The young she-cat was determined to get it.
Suddenly stopping, Owltail looked around. Her ducky brown fur stood on end, eyes fixed onto one place, a well covered bush. Perhaps it was a squirrel, or rabbit. Then again, it might be an intruder, an enemy cat. Whatever it was, she was about to find out by pouncing, but stooped shortly before. A small smile on her face, the she-cat said, "Stop trying to hide from me Foxfang. It's never worked before, and still doesn't. I told you my hearing is too good."
Owltail watched as a red cat came out of the bushed, looking at her. "Yes, well. I might as well try I suppose. But I wasn't trying to scare you, just came out to help you hunt."
Touching her brother's red flank, the dusky brown she-cat purred, "Yeah, okay. Let's get going then, I'd like to get back to camp soon, maybe take a small rest." Waiting for him to follow, Owltail made her way onwards again. Hopefully next time she stopped it would be for prey.
