Yet again the she-cat shrugged. "Eh, it wasn't really that difficult a catch. A kit could have caught it. A kit probably would have caught it before me, or at least scented it. I tend to not pay attention. That or I'm too focused on something else, and I don't notice it. Either way." Looking around casually for a moment, Minnowleg said, "We should probably get moving on."

"Right," Sparhawk just agreed with what Minnowleg was saying. He didn't really know what else to say. "So, anything interesting happening in your life?" He asked, trying to start a conversation.

"Mmm..." Thinking for a moment, Minnowleg shrugged. "Well, nothing much really. My life is just like it always is. There isn't really much to change in clan life, now is there?" She guessed that she was bugging him or something. That or boring him. "Uh... sorry, I'm really boring."

"No, you just think you are." Sparhawk replied amused. "We all think our lives are boring. Really, maybe they are or maybe they aren't. It doesn't matter so much as long as we do something about them..." The deputy stopped walking for a moment and thingyed his head. "Did that make any sense?"

"Uhh...no, not really. But there really aren't a lot of things that make sense to me. Still, I'm sure that would have stumped anybody, you can be quite a confusing cat." Minnowleg said, shrugging. "But I'm guessing you were trying to say something like... uh, like our lives are boring, but they work because we do things to make them not as boring? That doesn't make much sense either."

"I actually don't know what I was trying to say." Sparhawk laughed. "I guess this deputy thing is getting to my head and I'm trying to give out sagely advice...I see it's not working."

"Eh, you might want to try it on a less, er, well, a not me cat, before you deem it worthless or worthwhile advice." Minnowleg said, grinning slightly. Looking around for a moment, the orange she-cat assumed that Sparhawk was very bored, though she didn't really know what to do about it. She just wasn't the most interesting cat.

"Hmmm, well you shouldn't really be able to say if something works or not just by testing it out on one cat. That's not right, no matter who the cat is." Sparhawk said, still lost in his own thought. "So, we each have a mouse, do you think it's worth going back to the camp? Although I have to admit, it's nice out here."

"I guess we can go back if you'd like." Minnowleg said, shrugging. "I had planned on catching more, or trying to. Actually, I wasn't exactly sure I was going to catch anything, to the fact I didn't really come out to specifically hunt. But whatever. If you want to go back to camp, I guess I'll go with you. There's nothing else to do."

Sparhawk nodded. "Let's go. There should always be pray to catch. And to tell you the truth, I'm getting tired. I guess I'm starting to get old." The large warrior turned around and began his journey back to the camp, unsure if Minnowleg was following.

"Hardly old." Minnowleg said, rolling her eyes. Looking in the direction they were going a moment earlier, she tuned around slowly, following slowly after Sparkhawk. "Really Sparhawk, you're hardly older than I am. Though at the same time, you're quite old compared to me. Eh, I guess it's how you look at it, huh?"
