"Alright, well we'll be waiting here. Maybe Sorrelpaw and I can have an interesting conversation." he said to Meadowleaf, though smiled briefly at the apprentice beside him. Once the warrior was gone, Bluepatch looked over to Sorrelpaw, smiling still. "So, you're sister is gone for a bit. You think you could talk with me? I do enjoy talking with you, though it seems to lock up whenever there's more than one cat around. Do you not like me or something?"
"N-n-no!" she nearly shouted, protesting to what he said. "I-I-I d-do, y-you're, y-yeah, I s-swear, I-I." But it seemed the young she-cat had frightened herself so much, she couldn't even get a word that made sense out.
"Calm down Sorrelpaw." the warrior said, looking at her, his head shaking slightly. "I didn't mean that to be serious. I was just joking around with you. Of course you like me. If you didn't, then why would you even be out here with me? I know, you're probably scared of most of the cats in the clan, but amazingly enough you aren't of me. I'm not much different than the other cats in the clan you know."
"Y-y-yeah you are." she said, looking up at him. "Y-you're..." Looking straight up at him, Sorrelpaw couldn't seem to take her gaze from the tom's green eyes. 'You're special, even though you'll never know' she said in her head. "M-Meadowleaf s-said so." the apprentice was able to say that at least, when she turned away from him some. "Sh-she says y-you're not e-evil like all the oth-ther cats in the c-clan. Y-you don't act i-it at l-l-least."

Bluepatch let out a small laugh. "Well, I wouldn't say all the cats in the clan are evil. I admit, they aren't the most well influenced cats in the world, but still. Oh well though, right? All that really matters is that there's some cats you can depend on. I'm sure the clan can look up to that from you soon enough."
"I-I'm never going to be a w-warrior." she muttered, looking down at her paws. "I'm p-pathetic compared to Meadowleaf"
"Pshaw! Come on now Sorrelpaw, you'll be great, really. You think you won't be as good as Meadowleaf, but you cold. And even if you aren't, that doesn't mean you won't be a great warrior. Fighting and hunting skill isn't the only thing that makes a warrior. Loyalty is very important, and it's quite obvious you're completely loyal to the clan." Bluepatch looked over to where Meadowleaf had gone, then back over to Sorrelpaw. "Are you alright Sorrelpaw? You seem... well, nervous or something?"
"I-n-no." she said, quietly, shrugging. "B-but, I-I..." Frowning at herself, the young she-cat lay down, curling into a small ball. "I-is Meadowl-leaf back yet? I-I don't feel t-too well." Sorrelpaw muttered, though it was in a very muffled tone."

"Really? You don't look too bad, but I'll take your word for it." Walking closer to her, Bluepatch licked the apprentice's ear gently. "What's wrong anyways? You don't have to tell me if you don't want, but I just thought I could help."
Feeling the warrior lick her ear, Sorrelpaw jerked herself away quickly. "P-Please don't do that." she muttered, though she doubted even he could hear it.
Green eyes fixed on her with concern, Bluepatch looked around for a moment. "You really don't look too well. Or at least you're acting as if something is wrong. You know what? I think Meadowleaf can find her way back. Come on, I'll take you back right now." he said, nudging her gently to get up.

This time when Bluepatch touched her, Sorrelpaw leapt up, landing unsteadily a tail length away or so. She looked at him, fright in her blue eyes. "P-Please don't do that." she stammered, looking at him. It was obvious she was blushing this time, though she hoped he couldn't tell. "I-I don't w-want you to g-get sick."
"I'm sorry Sorrelpaw." he said, taking a small step towards her. "I was just trying to help you up. But you're starting to look extremely ill. You look very flushed, and you're legs look a bit weak. Are you sure you don't want me to help you? I really don't want anything to happen to you."
"I-I'm fine, r-really." she said, sitting down. "L-let's just wait for M-Meadowleaf. I-I'm too much trouble without h-her here." I'm always a nuisance to everyone. I just wish I wasn't, but that's never going to change. "I-I'm just in your way. Y-you'd have a much b-better time with M-meadowleaf."

"What are you talking about Sorrelpaw?" Bluepatch asked, looking at her. "Come on, we really need to get you back to camp. I'm sure your sister will catch up with us, or just come back on her own time." Concern in his voice, the blue and white tom began to walk towards her, though slowly. She seemed very disturbed at the moment about something.
"N-no." But as she looked around, Sorrelpaw saw her sister coming back. She got up and darted over to her. "L-look! Here's M-Meadowleaf right here. Y-y-you two should j-just get going on h-hunting or whatever." Looking at her sister for a moment, Sorrelpaw was about to take off, but Meadowleaf stopped her.
"Sorrelpaw! What in the world is wrong with you? You're acting so odd right now. Much more than you usually are." she said, staring at her sister with quite harsh eyes. But as her gaze began to soften, Meadowleaf saw her younger sister look glance over to Bluepatch, the warrior got a bit of a picture. Looking over to her clanmate, she asked, "Bluepatch, could you excuse us for a moment? I need to talk to Sorrelpaw."
"Alright, sure." he said, nodding. "I was just about to take her back to camp though, if you were wondering. She doesn't feel too well, according to her. I don't think she's looking all too well right now either." Keeping his eyes on Meadowleaf a moment longer, Bluepatch walked off, past the bushes. He'd just go hunt for a bit or something.

Once the warrior had left, Meadowleaf turned to her sister. "Okay, I now just talk, will you? I'm your sister, you can tell me whatever you'd like. Not like I'll judge you or something. But I know that you're not ill. You're perfectly fine, though your head may be a bit scrambled on something. Just please, tell me what it is."
"I-it's....nothing." she muttered, looking down at the ground. "R-really Meadowleaf, th-there's nothing wrong with me. Just a bit... t-tired or something. I really sh-should be getting back to camp, leave you t-two alone."
"What is with you and wanting to leave? You were with Bluepatch first hanging out, and you seemed fine. I come, and you're completely freaking out. Sorrelpaw, you can tell me things. I swear, as a sister, I'd never say anything to anyone. But you don't seem to ever really care. Then again, I can't get you to do anything you don't want to."
"It's not that, i-it's..." Lip trembling slightly, Sorrelpaw looked in the direction Bluepatch had gone for a moment, before looking back down to the ground. But it didn't matter; that had been enough to get Meadowleaf off on something."
"Bluepatch?" she questioned, looking up for a moment. An instance later, her eyes narrowed. "Sorrelpaw, what did that idiot do to you? He apparently did something, or he said something. Whatever he did, I swear I'm going to tell him off for it." Meadowleaf began to walk in that direction, though Sorrelpaw stopped her.
"N-no, don't do that! H-h-he didn't do anything wrong! I-it's just..." But again she went silent. Still, she could see her sister wanted to go after him, which meant that she'd need to say something. It would be difficult for her to lie and actually have her sister believe it, so did that mean she'd have to tell the truth?

"Sorrelpaw, you don't have to keep stalling. Just tell me if you want to. If not, then say you don't want to, and I'll get Bluepatch and we can get back to camp. Though truth be I don't see why I should bother to get him, he did something to you."
"He didn't do anything!" Sorrelpaw snapped, scaring herself as she did it. She wanted to just run away from her sister, but something wouldn't let her. "The only thing that's wrong is that I'm not you! And I'm never going to be you, and everyone thinks I should be! But I'm not, I'm some stupid, weak apprentice who's never going to be remotely similar to you, and I'll never have a chance with anything or anyone because of that! Because the only way that would ever happen is if I were you, and that's never going to happen! You'll get whatever you want because you're not me! You get to be happy having someone and things!" Once she had finally got it out, Sorrelpaw's entire expression was that of complete fear. Had she honestly said that, and to her sister?!! "I-I-I"
"Sorrelpaw, quiet." Meadowleaf said, though her voice wasn't harsh. It was actually quite mellow and soft. Sitting down, the warrior said, "Sorrelpaw, why haven't you said anything? It's not like anyone expects you to be me. Besides, I don't even see where you would have gotten that idea. I'm me, and I'm not really that good truth be. You're a great apprentice Sorrelpaw, and soon enough you'll be a great warrior. It's just our attitudes that are different. You have confidence in yourself, and you'll be just fine."
"N-no, that w-won't do anything." she muttered, still quite drawn back. It had seemed that outburst of hers had only made Sorrelpaw even more aloof than normal. "B-besides, I'm d-definitely not as p-pretty as you. And I'll n-never be."
"Honestly, off of that Sorrelpaw! I'd hardly call myself pretty, really. And you look just fine as well, though I don't need to see why you'd need to be 'pretty'. It's not like it'll count towards anything. All that matters is that-" But as watched her sister for a moment, Meadowleaf seemed to get a bit of what her sister was thinking. "Sorrelpaw..." Nudging the younger she-cat, she said, "Are you honestly thinking about that? You're hardly older than a kit, there's plenty of time to think about toms. Right now you need to focus on your training, and then do all you can to serve the clan when you're a warrior."

"T-that's not how everyone sees things M-meadowleaf." Sorrelpaw said, looking up at her. "B-But... I-I w-wasn't thinking completely ab-bout it, but..."
"Sorrelpaw, why in the world are you thinking about this anyways? I mean, who in the world would you even...? I highly doubt there's anyone, you talk to nobody. You barely talk to me. You're afraid of everyone." Watching her younger sister for a moment longer, it came to Meadowleaf. "Oh, I see now. That must be why you went silent earlier then, huh?" Sighing, the warrior got up, starting to pace some. "Sorrelpaw, you are so..." She looked over to her sister, finishing her sentence. "You shouldn't try to be like me. It's obvious you're nothing like me, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I've never had anything on my mind but the clan, obviously you're not like that. But... him, really?"
"Wh-wh-what? D-do you not l-like him?" she asked, looking expectantly at her sister. Sorrelpaw was often influenced by Meadowleaf. If she didn't like something, then it was probably for the best that Sorrelpaw didn't either.
"I never said that." she said, voice stern. "I'll admit, Bluepatch is a nice enough tom. But you know, it wouldn't hurt you to just talk to him, without freaking out. Or perhaps you should tell him how you feel? If you want, I'll go get him right now, and you can tell him that you like him."

"N-n-no!" Sorrelpaw shouted, shaking some. "D-Don't, please Meadowleaf, p-please! I-I'd never tell him!" Sorrelpaw was quite certain that Meadowleaf didn't know what it was like, to like someone. Especially with Sorrelpaw; she was so scared and timid, to actually do that would probably cause her to faint, or die or something.
"Fine, no need to be so pushy." Meadowleaf said, stopping. "Then what do you suggest we do? Just get him back here, and walk around like nothing happened? I highly doubt that'll happen. I'll probably end up questioning or something. Like I said earlier, he's a nice cat, though whether he's good enough for you is undecided. It's not like I'd let just any tom pad after you. Not that he is though."
"Well... why do you h-have to be like that Meadowl-leaf?" Sorrelpaw asked, looking in horror at her sister. She certainly was protective.

"Like what?" she asked, looking back to her sister. "I'm not being anything. I'm just being myself, and I was just stating the truth."
"Th-that's the thing." Sorrelpaw said, looking at her. "You're... really... you think that I'm some... super great cat, b-but... I'm not. I'd be l-lucky to...well, you know." The apprentice didn't think it was needed for her to say anymore, it was obvious what she was going to say.
"Honestly Sorrelpaw, that isn't the case, even though you think it." she said, rolling her eyes. "You're great, and anyone would be lucky to be with you. But not just anyone could be with you. Hardly anyone in the clan would be good enough for you. That's the truth, and you should get used to it. Maybe then you wouldn't have to be like this, telling me frightened, while he's just over there." Looking down at her sister, Meadowleaf nudged her. "Now come on, we'll go get him. Or if you want, I'll go get him. And since you said you weren't feeling well, I'll say your ill with something."
"F-Fine." Sorrelpaw muttered, looking down at the ground. But she quickly looked up, and said, "You c-can go get him. I-I don't think I can talk to him. Or e-even be by him much."

"Fine, be that way. Just wait here, I'll be by in a moment." Looking at her sister a moment longer, Meadowleaf walked off, towards the direction Bluepatch had gone. "Hello, Bluepa-" Her sentence was cut off as she felt herself bump into someone. "Oh, you. I was looking for you." she said, getting up.
"Oh, right." Bluepatch said, looking at her. "So, are we going to keep going on? Or... is Sorrelpaw still not feeling well? Did she already go back, on her own?"
"No, she didn't. But no, she's not feeling well. Looks to me as if she's just a bit faint, but she needs to get back to camp, rest a bit, maybe eat. So let's get going, I don't want her out here any longer than she had to be." Turning around, the she-cat walked back to her sister, stopping and waiting for Bluepatch to come.
"Hey there Sorrelpaw, still not feeling any better, huh?" he asked, looking at her. At first, the tom was walking towards her, though was stopped by Meadowleaf.
"You might not want to stand right next to her. If she faints or something, I'd probably be able to catch her better. And she really doesn't like others touching her." she said, staring at him. Her gaze was a bit cold, though she tried to hide it.

"Oh, alright." he said, backing up some. Meadowleaf seemed... well, she seemed a lot different than earlier. But he'd listen to her. "Shall we get going then? Sorrelpaw really should get back quickly."
"Right." the older she-cat said, nodding. She nudged her sister, saying, "Come on, let's get going." Waiting until Sorrelpaw began to move, Meadowleaf followed after her, making sure Bluepatch didn't get near her. "We'll be back quickly Sorrelpaw, then you can rest."
"Uh huh." she muttered, looking down at the ground. Every once in awhile, Sorrelpaw would just barely glance over at the tom. It seemed that she was even more embarrassed now that she had told Meadowleaf. Especially since her sister was being far too protective, more than normal.

Once the three were approaching camp, Bluepatch wondered if he should say anything. Perhaps he would... "Uh, hey Meadowleaf, after we get Sorrelpaw back to camp, you want to go back out? I'm sure we could do a bit more hunting. You could pick up whatever you caught earlier."
"Huh?" As if she hadn't heard him, Meadowleaf thought for a moment on the tom's question. It would at least get him away from Sorrelpaw, perhaps help her sister out, calm her down. Shrugging, the warrior said, "I suppose if you want to we could, though not for long. It probably isn't the best thing to be out of camp so long in a day."
"Oh, yeah, totally." he said, nodding. A small smile went on the tom's face, though he looked straight ahead again. --- Once back to camp, Meadowleaf nudged her sister gently. "You should go get some rest. Get something to eat if you want first, but get some rest for sure." she said, green eyes fixed on Sorrelpaw.
"A-alright." she muttered, nodding. Glancing over to Bluepatch for a moment, Sorrelpaw gave her sister a look, telling her not to be too harsh on Bluepatch or anything when the two were out. She just hoped she wouldn't interrogate him or something. But it's not like she'd get to make sure. Looking down at the ground, Sorrelpaw trotted over towards the apprentices' den quickly.
"I hope she's feeling better later." Bluepatch said, looking over towards where Sorrelpaw had just gone. "Anyways, you ready to go now Meadowleaf? The faster we go the faster we get back afterall."

"Like I don't know that." she muttered under her breathe. Looking up to Bluepatch for a moment, Meadowleaf responded, "Whatever, let's just get going, I don't want to leave Sorrelpaw alone too long, especially right now." Without waiting for her fellow warrior to go, the she-cat pushed her way past, quickly walking out of camp yet again.
"Hey, wait up!" Proceeding her, Bluepatch darted to catch up to the she-cat. "You seem to be in quite a hurry Meadowleaf, though I doubt the prey will be jumping into your claws. I'm sure we'll have to be out here for a bit before we catch anything decent. What's your hurry anyways? If you don't mind me asking."
"There is no rush." she said dryly. "I just want to get back. There's no point wasting time out here for no reason. And it won't take me forever to catch anything decent. I'm an excellent hunter, I can probably catch something in the next few minutes."
"Oh, right." he said, cringing slightly from her retaliation. She certainly was in a mood now. "But of course you can Meadowleaf, you are a great hunter. Probably the best in the clan I'd say."

"I'm hardly the best in the clan. I just trained hard as an apprentice. It's the only way that you can be good at anything, if you practice to perfect it. That's why Sorrelpaw will be a great hunter; she tries, I know she does."
"Oh, yeah, I suppose she does." Bluepatch muttered, nodding. Meadowleaf certainly talked about her sister a lot. But it was common, or natural, or something. Afterall, Sorrelpaw was her only family. "Sorrelpaw's a good apprentice. I'm sure she'll be just fine as a warrior. Just a bit skittish probably. I mean, it's not like that'll drop from her personality."
